Aeroplan 30% Conversion Bonus

FTers, is anyone doing this?

Questions:
1) If I do SPG to Aeroplan conversion of 40K do I still get the 10K regular bonus on top of this 30% one?

2) Is this a good offer or should I hold on for a better conversion offer?
