Assuming transfer of Marriott points to SPG would extend SPG points date of expiration:
09/17 called SPG, requested current expiration of SPG points: told Feb/2018
10/17 Transferred Marroitt points to SPG. Successfully displayed on SPG site as BONUS, Points transfer from Marriott. SPG point balance reflects added points.
11/17 called SPG, requested current expiration of SPG points: told Feb/2018
SPG CSR could see transfer transaction, however CSR emphatically maintained that point transfer did NOT extend SPG points expiration.
Could be CSR mis-information, but she was referring to a displayed Expiration Date (on her screen). Why can't SPG just make Expiration Date visible to account holder?
