Looking for an expert advice based on personal experience. I fly to KL in end of Jan and I have one Friday night with undecided hotel. Property must be of Marriott portfolio (I plan to register for Road to Platinum challenge). Location is not critical.

Due to approval of two LNF claims I have flexible reservations for both RC and JW at nearly identical and rather attractive rate (JW is marginally cheaper). Leaving a matter of lounge access aside (guaranteed at JW, not guaranteed at RC, but I may have a way to solve that), which one is a better pick?
Lounge quality (incl. options for high quality alcohol there) and impressive views from the lounge and/or room are my priority. I do expect a nice and instagrammable room LOL, but do not care too much for this. Other thing which I highly appreciate is the property being "special", something that makes a stay memorable and not just "okay, it's a 5* hotel".

Apart from RC and JW, I may opt for slightly cheaper (at the moment, rate may go up later) Majestic, which I actually wanted to stay at, but not sure if it's worth at nearly the same cost as RC/JW. Majestic definitely seems to be both special and instagrammable, but I have no idea how does it's lounge compare to RC/JW. (I have stayed last time at another Autograph Collection hotel there, Stripes, and while the property itself is sweet and service is amazing (!), its lounge and alcohol choice there had been disappointing.)

Finally, if neither of these three are really amazing and worth staying (I have seen some rather dated comments on RC and JW claiming they are both way below any other property of these brands), I can choose either Renaissance or Stripes, which are both considerably cheaper.
