This is also the situation on the ET aircrafts with angled flat seats. The footrest part of the seat is angled towards the floor (otherwise there would be no space for your feet under the seat in front of you).
The head/shoulder section is indeed a bit higer than middle section but IMO it is not a problem. The lower footrest part is the main issue
