Just completed a 5-night stay in one of the Torquise Suites and found this property, which IMO ought to be an Autograph Collection because its not the cookie cutter JW and definitely is totally unique in character.

A big shout out to Ty and his staff, including Thomas, Naomi and Uyen in Guest Services; Quyen and Sunny at Red Rum and Vi in the main restaurant - they never failed to provide other then great service and ALWAYS with a smile.

I think my other half took 500 pics, now all on Facebook, because everywhere you turned it was like a mix of Disney with style and a living museum with utmost attention to details.

Although the living room contained many pieces of furniture there was no sense of clutter and the amount of light from both the open shutters and the high ceiling (we were in the top floor of the Agri Bldg) along with the cool breezes was just amazing.

Never had an L sized robe fit before but this time it did and the rain shower and 4 poster bed, well, which movie set was I on ?!
Even the outside lifts not only had educational info but were air conditioned.

If you want to immerse yourself in history and get into a total R&R zone of peace and comfort while being treated like royals, this is the place.

For the poster who complained about excessive noise - its not property caused as alleged but emanating from the property being developed next door.

For the poster who complained about the lack of English speaking staff - this is NOT the US and the staff spoke much better English then you spoke Vietnamese (and the staff communicated with my wife in Thai too)

And to the person who complained that she gave a cash deposit and did not get back the exact same bills several days later, but got back smaller denominations, well cash is fungible and BTW, get a life.

To any others contemplating going to stay at this resort, don't disappoint yourself, go NOW, and to those that think/state only SPG offers aspirational props, obviously you've never been to the JW Phu Quoc
