Hi everyone,

I'm trying to decide with my 725 credit score if I should use the invitation number I received through AA to apply for the Executive World Elite MC or follow the advice in the wiki to apply for one of the less prestigious AA cards (for which I do not have an invitation number.)

Does the invitation number carry any weight in the application process? Or is it just a way for the marketing department at AA to track their success driving business to Citi?
