It's one thing to want peace and quiet, it's another thing to not see a single guest in an entire day.
To be honest, as a family man with a 24/7 career who occasionally looks to travel alone for peace and quiet and to reset, I think what you just described above sounds meditative, wonderful and perfect. I'd sacrifice a lot of time and money to get to a place that afforded me wall-to-wall peaceful contemplative silence. It's like existing in a work of art.
