Fare Guarantee cancelling paid Premium Upgrade
Earlier in the year I did a fare guarantee that moved me from a paid premium seat back into coach. I had done other fare guarantee on this seat without problem. I emailed CS and they switched me back... all is good. No explanation of what happened.
I attempted fare guarantee on a different ticket in October and noticed some language about upgrades getting cancelled. I emailed that language to CS and asked if this means I would lose my premium upgrade... 3 weeks later CS replied with 'we don't know please phone us and ask again' (...???). Sorry I don't have the language any more as I missed the fare reduction and I can't get back to that screen.
I really don't want to sit on hold for an hour so I hoped maybe someone here knows what is up. Can I really lose a paid premium upgrade because of fare guarantee. I don't want to risk 2x return premium upgrades by applying for a $15 credit ;-)
