Just when I thought I had 0% chance of clearing on UA1796 SFO-EWR tomorrow 11/7, I wake up this morning and I took the last seat. Last night, the inventory was J1 JN1 C0...... and I am on a $150 K fare with RPU applied. Nice surprise. I thought I was resigned to 8F for the night (which is the second best option on the plane). I'm really surprised that UA didn't force me to take that one to the gate in hopes they would sell someone up at OLCI.
