BA routinely spray passengers with the lethal chemical dihydrogen monoxide from the air con vents, and it is often to be found tainting the in flight meals - amongst other uses in the mass catering business, it's used in liquid form as a cheap solvent during the industrial cleaning process of the utensils.

Pesticides are the least of our worries, quite frankly.
