tinkicker, thanks for the update on the recent research in this area.
Apropos of this, while on the recent BA flight sim expedition, we were shown through the new BA cabin training areas where one cabin simulator was in use by "crew from another airline doing recurrent training" [1] which our host could tell by the calls being made by the crew. This other airline has cabin crew shout "Get down! Stay down!" in emergencies, while BA crew shout "Brace! Brace!". I am guessing this is because BA has seats where the correct brace position is to remain upright, such as rear-facing Club seats, while some other airlines have only front-facing seats and so all passengers should get down into a forward-leaning brace position.
[1] Other airlines use BA's facilities for training, both the flight simulators and the cabin simulators.
