In general the fare buckets are:
- A for First Class
- D for Business Class
- L for Economy Class
There are some specific exceptions, such as
- Most AA domestic First Class books into D not A
- Some domestic flights on certain carriers (JL for example) book into different classes - the details are in the Fare Rules which are available on Oneworld.com
