How do you deal with the "droopy life vest" under the seat in front of you?

Perhaps it's because I'm a taller individual with bigger feet but the bag that holds the floatation vest for the person that sits in front of me has been a problem on many of my recent flights.

Invariably when I place my feet into the foot area under the seat in front of me, the vest bag immediately whacks the top of my feet because of how it hangs/droops down into the foot space. I refer to this as the "droopy {life vest}" problem. This has been an issue whether I sit in Y, E+ or J, 738s, 739s, Airbii.

Whether this is being driven by more folks putting more stuff "under the seat in front of you", BE, sagging bag fatigue, heavier vest pouches, or some combination of these, it is driving me nuts.

For those who've also been affected by this, how have you been dealing with it?

David
