The metro to the terra cotte is not finished yet.
The HGI is really out of the way for anything touristy. If your trip is for business in the Tech Zone it is fine but otherwise if you want to see the Wall, Great Mosque, Goose Pagoda and so on the Hilton is better located. Note it is a good walk away (45minutes I estimate) to the Bell Tower.
