I guess I stand corrected. I based my comments on the 2003 Alaska Mileage Plan Guide, which states on page four, "Actual flight miles flown in a calendar year on Alaska Airlines and/or Horizon Air." I could not find anything stating that 500 miles minimum counted toward MVP or MVP Gold status.
