Joh and I are spending a week from June 16 driving in a circle from Fairbanks down to Anchorage and back, before we attend the Dusseldorf Four, FT weekend Dooo.

"Down Under" we do not have a clue as to best rates or codes for the USA. We need a car (small car is fine) from about 8pm Wednesday June 16 and drop off about 8pm Wed June 23.

Is that a "week" rental by Car Rental calendars, or 8 days - I always get those things mixed up.

Does anyone know a week rate REAL discount code to use, or a coupon or cert that might be available to obtain it? If you can assist please post here or email me direct on [email protected]

I figure there will be about 1500 miles of travel involved so I hope all weekly rates have unlimited miles plans? With the weak $A - coupled with the sky-high $US price of petrol, and the myriad of differing kinds of insurance all of which that I sadly need to sign up for, as nothing from here covers us, am trying to get the rate down as much as I can. The insurance cost usually way beats out the rental and tax total.
