A new version of the rules was published on 1-Dec-2016
That version was the first to no longer have the following words
(they had been there in the previous version, dated 4-Aug-2016, and in all earlier versions)
*not more than 2 of which may be between the UK and ALBANIA, ALGERIA, BULGARIA, CROATIA, CYPRUS, GREECE, MIDDLE EAST, MOROCCO, ROMANIA, RUSSIA west of the Urals, TUNISIA, TURKEY, UKRAINE.
So if you purchased your ticket after 1-Dec-2016, then the restrictions was no longer in place
