I checked into the Del Mar Doubletree this afternoon and I noticed my breakfast voucher had the Diamond box checked and then instead of just having the box full breakfast checked (the other option was continental), it was stamped "UPGRADED - Full Breakfast Buffet" so you are more consciously aware that they don't have to give you that, but they are (which I don't blame them with the lowly levels of some the Diamond breakfast benefits I have seen recently). As a general rule, Doubletrees seem to be good about providing Diamonds full breakfast which I think is why I was so appalled at what I got at the Wit this summer.
