Easy for them to find the interline agreement in their system. The problem is a manually constructed tag.
I get frustrated by people who will not learn to do their jobs properly. Easier to try to BS the customer or give wrong info instead of spending 5 minutes to learn how.
Nowadays the agents aren't always taught, or given minimal instructions. AA agents (not contract) can't do it without calling a support desk anymore.
