I forwarded my confirmation email to the hotel in question to query whether my booking using the LPR code is valid and have received a reply stating "hereby I confirm that the reservation you mentioned is valid."
I'm still very surprised at the discount - am I good to go if I bring a copy of this email? I can't imagine they would turn me away with this confirmation, but on the other hand I find it difficult to imagine them honouring such a low rate.
NB The rate was bookable for a couple of days after I made my reservation, but on checking now after I received the above email from the hotel, it is no longer bookable.
So instead of posting the deal on FT, you called the hotel and killed the deal, and now you're scared to go even when they told you in writing you're good to go, did I miss anything?
