Spending two weeks in Africa this holiday season, with four nights in Kenya, our final stop. I am leaning towards spending our first two nights at the Fairmont Mara Safari Club and our last two nights at the Crowne Plaza Nairobi. Even though we are using our annual certificates which expire in February...The Fairmont charges $81pp conservation fee/statutory taxes, $75pp for fullboard and $60pp for 1/2 day game rides or $100pp for full day. So roughly looking at about $250pp in daily extras. Is there a better or more economical way to experience the Maasai Mara National Reserve? I've read that the Mara Safari Club is the worst possible redemption
