That's what I am planning to do. I will cancel the Reserve today. My annual fee was posted on Sept 22, so I will probably get most of my annual fee back.
Then I will wait until I have a plan to stay at a Hilton before I apply for the Aspire. I don't see any reason to rush. I already have Diamond until March 2019 from the $40K spent on the Reserve this year.
