I'm trying to help a friend of mine with his honeymoon. He wants to go to OGG and KOA from NYC during the first week of november. The goal is to maximize the best balance of comfort, convenience and price. CO is probably the most conveneient and also I hear the best but it is over $2000. UA, AA, NW, DL are all about $1400. UA and AA fares are also over 2000 if you take one stops to either OGG or KOA. Flights connecting in HNL are 1400.

So it basically looks as though its 1400 for a two stop on NW, DL, AA or UA. Or its 2000 for a onestop on AA, UA or CO. How do these first classes compare. From what I have read, this is what I gather.

CO is very good. Comparable to international business. AA is very good on a 767 and is comparable to int'l business. 757 is more like domestic first. UA I have heard is like domestic first in all cabins. I don't know about NW or DL.
