I don’t see traditional room service coming back at Marriott properties because it has not been profitable for many years. Personally, I have only ordered room service two times, and they were both at Marriott properties before they changed over into Fresh Bites. Only one of those orders could be considered a full meal since I got a cheeseburger and ice cream for dessert. Including service charges, the bill was over $30, and this was over 10 years ago at the Mayflower in DC. I came back to the hotel after watching Teahouse at the Kennedy Center and wanted something for dinner.
