If AMEX comes up with the rumored Ascend card, there is a good chance that I can get a sign on bonus. Am I missing something?
+1. I'm thinking of applying straight away for the Hilton Amex Surpass (soon to be modified to Ascend) and get the 75,000 bonus pts for $3k in spend. I see no reason to allow Amex to auto convert my Citi card and get no sign on bonus.
