I had an AMEX surpass before, which I closed and got the Citi Hilton Reserve. I wonder if there is any reason for me to wait for the conversion to an AMEX product.
If they give me an AMEX (whether Surpass or Ascend) automatically, I won't get any sign on bonus. So what is the benefit of letting that happen?
If AMEX comes up with the rumored Ascend card, there is a good chance that I can get a sign on bonus. Am I missing something?
