Yup. I was looking at all the benefits and saw it. I think you also get the Avis preferred or something like that. And IIRC there's some discount for silver car...maybe.
Yeah I'm about to hit EE pretty soon but doesn't seem like there's that much difference in terms of cars....you get the same cars usually with EC or EE.

My experience matches yours. Switching from Hertz, I see more cars I like; I've gotten Lincolns, I've gotten V8 Chargers and Challengers, etc. But almost more importantly, I have had impeccable customer service from National. Always, and at multiple locations. Hertz could learn a lot from them about how to treat customers.
