Thoughts on GE with checked bags on a 2 hour connection from SK to UA. Separate PNRs and last UA flight of the night to RDU. ARN flight would arrive at 635pm, RDU flight leaves at 855pm. Will be flying in J on SK but only Y on UA (and will likely be no status unless Marriott gives me a Platinum soft-landing or a buy-up to Platinum again).

Trying to book our honeymoon flights home and routing DPS - BKK - ARN - ORD - RDU on TG/TG/SK lets us get home without having to overnight in Chicago while the other options (DPS - SIN - TPE - ORD - RDU) require an overnight in Chicago due to the late arrival of the TPE flight.
