- Stay in Y. You'll be closer to a fellow passenger and may be able to practice your Spanish with them on the flight itself
- You're Gold, so just get buzzed in the lounge before.
- Splurge on a hotel. Dear Hotel is a nice boutique one, the new Axel Hotel Madrid is superb (LGBT-friendly, good location, get a Premium room). Great value.
