I never knew you could search for self check in! This is the absolute best thing coming out of this thread. Makes my life just about infinitely simpler. OMG. How much I love you. OMG. I will use this so, so often. I needed to communicate way too often about way late checkins. I am always pleasantly surprised when I find lockboxes, fast and simple. No more surprises!

Also, if I gather correctly, due to the lack of https://www.networkrail.co.uk/our-ra...row-rail-link/ getting from Heathrow to Bristol involves some ridiculous stunts, either of: a) three changes of trains (at least that's what GWR tells me) b) bus to Reading (with all the uncertainty a bus gives you), 13 minute walk from Reading bus station to Reading train station c) take Heathrow Express to Paddingon and then go backwards. And to finish this off, Gatwick despite being much further, it's actually barely longer because there's a direct train between Gatwick Airport and Reading. And all this because of a missing relatively short rail tunnel.
The rail air link is far from perfect, but I use it often enough. Alternatively look at National express straight from Heathrow to Bristol. Yes it’s a bus , but I believe they have WiFi and it should be quick.
