I checked into this hotel yesterday and it started out fairly poorly. My profile is configured so king bed is confirmed. The first room they put me in had two full beds and on floor 14 (of 26). WRONG. Went back down and got a new king room on floor 19 but it was teeny tiny, much smaller than the first room. WRONG. I got a manager involved and was first told there were no king rooms available on a high floor but then miraculously found a normal sized room with a king on floor 21. With that all solved, I was able to settle in.
Around 6 PM, I went down to the lounge on the 1st floor only to discover they are using a temporary lounge while a new one is being worked on. This one is barren, sterile and with very little seating. Breakfast is only in the restaurant now as the lounge is too small. The variety in the restaurant is good but, of course, much busier than a lounge.
I'll update this thread as the stay (10 nights) progresses.
Can you find out, when they plan on opening the permanent lounge? I will be staying here in late November for 3 nights and a big selling point was the lounge access. Can you also share a few photos of the temporary lounge and the offerings if you don't mind? Thanks again!
