Both of your passport identify you as a Chinese National unless you have a China Visa in your Canadian Passport. Sounds iffy to me. If you want to visit SH I would just get a travel permit for the Canadian Passport (easier) as opposed to getting a HRP using your HK SAR passport in HK (more difficult)
