Can not choose premium class seats when booking on AS website
Hi I have experienced this problem in the last few days and so far have not found a fix, and I wonder if any other Gold or G75K members have this same problem (I am G75K):
When I booked my AS flights at Alaskaair.com, I could not select premium class seats, even though I picked the premium class fare (for G75K it should be for most fares), and the seat map showed plenty of empty seats on Y+ cabin.
After I purchased that ticket, I was placed on premium class upgrade waitlist as well as first class upgrade waitlist. I still could not select the Y+ upgrade seat.
I finally called AS MVPG line. The agent couldn't figured out what happened. She talked to her supervisor, whom still couldn't figure out why I was locked out of the Y+ cabin. They finally over-rode the system, and assigned me seats in the Y+ cabin on both ways. But they told me they didn't know how to fix this problem.
When I went back to the seat selection screen, all Y+ seats are blocked out except my seat that was assigned by the agent over the phone.
Do anybody else have this problem?
