Would the following itinerary work:

LAX-PVG arriving PVG April 1.
SHA-HKG April 2
HKG-PVG April 6
PVG-LAX April 9

Note that the lax-pvg-lax legs are booked as roundtrip through Delta. I have a separate booking through Cathay Pacific for SHA-HKG-PVG.
