Le Meridien is by far my favorite brand and I agree with most of your comments.
Chiang Mai was the first LM we stayed at and is the property we have stayed at most so holds a special place for me. It has deteriorated the last couple of years due to a high volume of tour groups though.
Probably my favorite now is LM Kuala Lumpur since the club lounge is second to none for food.
Others that I love that you didn't mention are LM Kota Kinabalu (view from lounge is amazing) and LM Saigon (got upgraded to a fantastic suite with a great view).
Two I would love to visit but will have to save up for are those in Paro and Thimpu in Bhutan.
