PJ's were offered without asking on QR42 from Paris (Qsuites) couple of weeks ago though, but seeing it was a day flight I refused.
Sadly on my secont segment to DPS which is a night flight they didn't offer/have them.. Weird seeing that is a way longer segment (but under 10 hours)
Might be because of route and direction you are flying.
15.30 departure in DUB does not get PJ's 20.30 departure in BKK does get PJ's.
Both flights are landing around the same time in DOH. But if you flying from BKK you are flying your against your own time zone.
Which means if the DUB flight lands at DOH at 1 in the night its only 11 PM in DUB. But the BKK flight landing at midnight means it is already 4 AM. In one case you spend the evening (according to your local time) in the other case your flew the whole night).
Thats the only explanation I could come up with.
