Didn't bother me at all, you don't see the galley directly at all (you can somehow see the passenger walkway where they lay out the snacks during quiet hours). I don't remember a curtain, or if there was one it wasn't used on my short p.s. route. The seat is close to the window and feels very private, you don't see a single human from your seated position unless they're walking by the aisle. People waiting for the lavatory do so in the walkway, so don't bother you at all.

Then again, I'm not particularly sensitive to these kinds of things. But I'm not disturbed by the lavs/galleys at all.
