EasyJet - Cardboard box as check in luggage?

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows or has had any experience with taking a cardboard box as checked in luggage with EasyJet. I've managed to check in cardboard boxes as luggage before with a premium airline (OneWorld) but I know that budget airlines are a little bit picky/more restrictive.

I'm intending to buy some things when visiting the UK so will not need any luggage on the way there but would like to have some luggage allowance on the way back - Was hoping to use a double-walled cardboard box for luggage if possible to save on having to buy a bag as I don't really need another piece of luggage at home

Thanks in advance!
