If I was on AC's legal claims team I would read into this as... passenger was admittedly drinking alcohol, was aware of broken glass which had a basic in air clean up but without a vacuum etc, passenger did not wear shoes or slippers for the rest of the flight resulting in a cut.

wearing just airline socks into a lav is cause enough for a tetanus shot in my book. even without broken glass.
Not sure I would agree, but I'm not a lawyer.

Yes, there was broken glass, but customer might not have been aware that the glass wasn't cleaned up. Had the FA advised the passenger to be careful, different story. One could argue AC is liable for ensuring the environment is safe and/or restricting use if it isn't (other than in an emergency), similar to say how the seatbelt sign comes on during turbulence.

I would argue for the replacement of the strap. And some sort of compensation above and beyond. But if you're serious about fighting them, remember it's you versus the high priced legal department and you better have deep pockets.

Oh wait, you have a Louis Vuitton purse, so you could probably afford a fight.

Take it to em... take em to the bank... (after I sell my shares)
