Compensation for spilled wine on AC question
We recently travelled internationally on Air Canada Rouge, premium Economy. The flight attendant accidentally knocked my glass of wine off my table to the floor where it broke and spilled red wine over my Louis Vuitton carry on bag staining the leather shoulder strap. She cleaned up the glass and gave me a slip with an incident number and told me to contact customer relations when I got back to Canada. Awhile later I got up to visit the washroom, and I stepped on a piece of glass that she hadn't noticed was still there. I was wearing the airline socks. It cut my foot which impacted our walking trip in London. I sent a note to Air Canada on September 14 to which I received a standard auto reply saying they would get back to me within 30 days. It is more than that..I just called and the customer service agent has sent a note asking them to respond ASAP. What kind of compensation should I ask for with this? Obviously the bag's leather shoulder strap needs to be replaced if the stain doesn't come out. Plus I was injured. Thanks in advance for any replies!!
