Why would you not buy points in your own account? Why create a new account to buy points? I think HHonors would greatly suspect something not kosher is involved, even though there is none.
because I have reach my limit for this year and just needed another 40K to get 5 days redemption instead of 3 days, for a saving of about $500.

ps. SIN is not a part of Greater China
