Joh and I are spending a week from June 16 driving in a circle from FAI down to ANC and back, before we attend the Dusseldorf Four, FT weekend Dooo.

We need about 3 Hotel nights in FAI, and the only decent looking Hotel there appears to be the Westmark. I understand they allow one to accrue AS miles, but not sure if one can burn AS miles for hotel stays. Does anyone know?

Or, is there anywhere else in FAI that one can use miles to redeem rooms on? If there IS, I bet someone on here can advise.

They have no Hilton or Starwood or Hyatt or Marriott properties in the city at all from what I have been able to figger out.
