If a pattern of discrimination by AA exists, I'll gladly condemn them. But this whole thing seems like theater more than anything else, but I'd be glad to be proved wrong. Both WN and B6 have had public issues with pax belonging to federally protected classes this year.
In my experience, airlines treat people of all races equally poorly at times. Perhaps minority passengers get worse treatment. I really don't know. However, more often than not, that poor treatment is usually somewhat related to the passenger's own conduct.

I know at my company, which is a federal contractor, there are plans to increase female and minority involvement in both the board and senior management. We have specific target dates to reach specific percentages.
* Are there any minorities on the AA board, or senior leaders?
* Does AA have any concrete plans to gain a specific percentage of minority/female board members/senior leaders by a specific date?
AA's BoD is not terribly diverse. Of the 13 BoD members: 9 old white guys, 2 women (also white) and 2 black gentlemen.
