One thing I found interesting in AA's response statement:

“We are disappointed to hear about this travel advisory as our team members — a diverse community of gate agents, pilots, and flight attendants—are proud to serve customers of all backgrounds. Every day American is committed to providing a positive, safe travel experience for everyone who flies with us,” spokeswoman Shannon Gilson told CNN.
There is no mention of management or board members.

I know at my company, which is a federal contractor, there are plans to increase female and minority involvement in both the board and senior management. We have specific target dates to reach specific percentages.

* Are there any minorities on the AA board, or senior leaders?
* Does AA have any concrete plans to gain a specific percentage of minority/female board members/senior leaders by a specific date?
