Was at the T4 trial earlier this week and was told that in order to use the airside shuttles to T4, one has to be travelling on an onward T4 flight, unsure if BP or booking will suffice for security to pass you through.
So Oneworld travellers who wish to be dining in the favourite QF J lounge and decide to head over to T4 for a look may be slightly disappointed.
However, should you be travelling on CX J/F or an OW Elite flying out on CX, you could possibly check in and obtain your BP, take the landside shuttle back to T2 and navigate yourself to T1 for the lounges should you not find it troublesome. Getting back to T4 would be the same, via the shuttle at Terminal 2
