Consider executive class bus as well. By the time you add the times city to airport, airport check and wait, fly, arrive and ground transport to town a bus with much better comfort and seating than an airplane has done downtown to downtown in 5.5 hours.
I see, I agree, I just booked Aero Mexico for 4, for $634, roughly around $150, if it goes down, I hope I get a voucher for the difference.
I did think of Bus and driving but finally came down to flying.
