If you have National EE can you status match to Hert'z PC as well?
Really. The last straw for me was in spring of 2016 when my President's Circle "Upgrade", from a standard midsize, was a new-ish (<10k miles) Nissan Versa. At SFO - not some outstation. They claimed that the "SV" trim level made it more desirable, and therefore an upgrade.

While I have had some boring cars at National - including a rental from MKE where the entire Executive Aisle was Malibus of various hues, for the most part I have found the cars to be newer and nicer (higher trim levels) than I was getting at Hertz. I've had a couple of BMWs, a couple of Audis, a Volvo V60 T5, Chargers, Challengers, Chrysler 300s, Mustangs (coupes and convertibles), a couple of really nice Altimas, Jeep Wranglers (including one with only 70 miles on it), etc, etc. I am currently driving a 2018 F150 SuperCab with only 250 miles on the odometer.

In general, I have just had a better experience since I switched. It's entirely possible that Hertz has totally changed horses, and I am missing out on the best. rentals. EVAR, but I will probably wait until the end of this year's 1, 2, Free promotion before I consider trying them again - because the costs with my corporate code are so low that it takes forever to save enough points to do anything with.
