Easy question for those more knowledgable than me (most people). Looking to buy a retiurn ticket to New York. My outbound flight is certain but my return time is not ( although the day is) So if I wanted to book in CW is there anyway to book the outbound in the lowest cost class available (ciurrently R or D) and book return in J which is fully flexible or will have to buy a fully flexible ticket both ways to enable me to change ticket for return keg if required?
I'd consider getting a same-day-change WT fare, and once you know which flight you're on hope for an AUP on it. I'm assuming the same-day-change works on TATL fares, that AUP are pretty available on NYC flights given the number of them, and that this would be cheaper than a flex biz fare.
