I just got one of the mailers with the 65K offer, applied, approved. I was going to use the same mailer for my wife but then I realized that she is at the 26 month mark after applying for her existing card. So here is my question: Is there any advantage by just applying with the regular 60K offer or should I use the mailer (and get the add'l 5K miles).
I used the 40k/$1K spend link to apply for my wife as she was also over 24 months. She was matched to 60k.
Next week she is going for a either a 65K /$4K ( if I think we can get matched to 85K ) or a 50K/$3k that I know I can get matched to 70K.
Should I go the 50K route that would be 130K AA points for spending $4K
