Indeed - must call. Just have your complete itinerary ready (price it on ITA) and ask to book a specific itinerary and read it off in the order:

Date - Origin - Dest - Flight Number - Booking Code

They will be typing it into SHARES in this order, and then have a command to attempt to auto-price. It may require HUCA; generally your clue is if the agent seems to be expecting the info in this order then they are doing it right.


Note that only some partners work for this; others don't allow discount fares to plate 016. LH, AC, and NH should be fine.
